Controversy Erupts at Paris Olympics: Italian Boxer Withdraws Amidst Heated Clash with Transgender Opponent

A very strange incident happened today in Paris Olympics when an Italian girl had to compete with a transgender man Iman Khalif in a match of 66 kg boxing category. Iman Khalif calls himself a girl and the Olympic Committee has accepted it.  .

The match was against the Italian boxer Angela Jeremy. As soon as the match started, when the transgender punched her two or three times, after 46 seconds, the Italian boxer withdrew from the match saying that it was severe abuse.  I've fought tough female boxers but I've never had a punch like that, I thought my nose was going to break and it was going to blow my head off.

The Algerian boxer was declared the winner, but the Olympics have since sparked the biggest controversy in boxing history, with many calling it stupidity on the part of the Olympic Committee.

Remember that this boxer from Algeria was disqualified from participating in the world championship held in Delhi last year.

Italian boxer Angela Carini was forced to box against Imani Khalif, a biological man from Algeria.

She quit after just 45 seconds, crying hysterically as her opponent was declared the winner.

Carini yelled "It's unfair" as he threw his headgear into the ring after the fight.

I'm used to suffering. I've never taken a punch like this, it's impossible to continue. I'm not one to say it's illegal," she told reporters through tears.

I came into the ring to fight. But I didn't feel like it after the first minute. I started to feel a lot of pain in my nose. I didn't give up, but one punch hurt a lot and so I took a lot.  He said, "I'm going with my head held high."

His coach says he might have a broken nose.
