How to make Biryani

 Ingredients

 1 kg chicken 1/2 kg rice 1 large onion, finely chopped 4 tomatoes, finely chopped 2 tablespoons red chili powder 1 tablespoon garam masala 1 tablespoon coriander powder 1 tablespoon cumin powder 1 tablespoon salt 1/2 tablespoon green chilies, chopped 1/2 cup Yogurt 1/4 cup oil 1/2 cup green chili and ginger chutney 1/4 cup tomato chutney 1/4 cup salad leaves 1/4 cup tomato slices 1/4 cup cucumber slices

 Synthesis

 In a bowl add chicken pieces, onion, tomato, red chilli powder, garam masala, coriander powder, cumin powder, salt and green chillies and mix well.

 Wash the rice in a large pot and pour water over it and soak it for 15 minutes.

 Heat oil in a pan and add the seasoned chicken pieces.

 Lightly fry the chicken pieces and add curd to it.

 Allow the curd to absorb into the chicken pieces.

 Now add the fried rice on top of the fried chicken pieces in the pot.

 Add green chili and ginger chutney and tomato chutney over the rice.

 Now cover the pot and cook for 30 minutes.

 After 30 minutes, remove the lid from the pot and mix the rice and chicken well with a spoon.

 Now serve biryani hot with salad leaves, tomato slices and cucumber slices.
